Vehicle Crime - Findon Way |
||
|
Recently, there has been a pattern of vehicle crime incidents that have occurred on Findon Way.
Since May 22nd, there has been a spate of incidents whereby cars have been broken into overnight or in the early hours of the morning. On some reports, the offenders have attempted to enter the vehicles by trying the doors but have been unsuccessful.
The offenders seem to be taking valuables (such as wallets/ purses, e-cigarettes, etc) out of cars.
The offenders appear to be working in pairs. The best description of the offenders is: WHITE MALES, APPROX 14-16 YEARS OLD, BOTH BROWN HAIR. ONE MALE USUALLY WEARS DARK COLOURED SHORTS OR JOGGERS, BLACK TRAINERS , BLACK/GREY HOODIE JACKET. OTHER MALE - WEARING A FULL GREY TRACKSUIT WITH REFLECTIVE TRIMMING , WEARING SLIDERS WITH SOCKS.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify the offenders and local NPT officers will be in the area for monitoring and reassurance.
We encourage local residents to install cctv/ dashcams and to ensure that all valuables are kept inside the home and not in the cars. For further vehicle crime prevention advice, please go to Secure By Design: Secured by Design - Car Security | ||
